You are invited to a joyful and inclusive Pride Shabbat celebration open to the entire community-LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies alike. Our Shabbat service will feature inspiring music from beloved TI Artist in Residence, Elana Arian, one of the greatest Jewish voices of our time. Immediately following the service, stay for a festive oneg sponsored by allies of the LGBTQIA+ community and an uplifting concert with Elana, joined by Cantors Cadrain and Mann.
Rainbow Challah Bake

We will celebrate Pride together by baking rainbow challah, which we will share at the June 22nd Westport Pride gathering. This event–which will include Havdalah and a meal–is open to all.
Unspoken Screening & Discussion

Unspoken is a film that follows the story of Noam, a closeted teenager in a religious community who discovers that he might not be alone. Stay after the screening for a lively discussion with the writer and director, Jeremy Borison.

Affinity Group

Westport Pride

At this celebration of the LGBTQ+ community and allies, Cantor Cadrain will offer a musical blessing on behalf of Temple Israel. Throughout the afternoon members of the Westport LGBTQ+ community and its allies will take the stage to share musical performances and personal stories. The gathering will be complete with food trucks, local vendors, and an abundance of rainbows.
